The Ticker Labor Games!

On Labor Day, September 2, 2019, 8 am. The Ticker Labor Games will commence and challenge the ultimate capacity of your fitness and training! Come ready for a challenge of the body and the mind and be prepared to test the limits of what you may not know you are capable of!

Who’s it for?

EVERYONE! With two options, The Attack and the Tickler, The Ticker Labor Games were created to challenge your strength, skill, and endurance.

What is it exactly?

The Ticker Attack and the Ticker Tickler will demand a long sustained effort. The progressive nature of this event is designed to challenge even the most experienced fitness enthusiast! After registering for the Ticker Labor Games, if you think you are up for the challenge, submit a qualifying video on @tickertraining Instagram to be entered into the Ticker Attack event challenge on Labor Day!

The Ticker Attack

5k Trail run in Saginaw Forest

Then, at Ticker Training HQ, chipper style:
The Tumbler (from the qualifier)
8 Rounds; 10 Air Squats, 10 Box Jumps (step-ups allowed)
The Tumbler
10 rounds; 30 Ab Mats and 30 Double Unders
The Tumbler
20 Wall Walks (Starts and ends at the bottom of push up, nose to wall)
The Tumbler
5 sets; 25 unbroken wall balls (20/14lbs)
The Tumbler
10 Rounds; 5 Thrusters, 5 Pull-Ups (95/65)
The Tumbler
7 Rounds; 7 Toes to Bars, 7 Overhead Squats (95/65)

6 Rounds; 8 Dead-Lifts @185/135, 8 Handstand Push-Ups

5 rounds; 9 Squat Snatch and 1 rope climb

Then, back outside,
1 Mile body weight sled drag

*If at any point you decide to quit or can no longer continue, you will be granted the honor of the 1-mile empty sled drag to signify the end of your event for the day*

The Ticker Tickler will offer a smaller taste of what a Ticker event will entail if you want to just try the challenge as a baseline for the next Ticker Endurance event!

1-mile Sled Drag

5 Hang Power Clean (your choice on weight)
10 Cal Row
5 Shoulder To Overhead
10 Cal Assault Bike
5 Burpees
10 Cal Ski

Registration

Registration is free but please sign up in advance so we know how many to expect!

How do I Qualify?

To be considered eligible for the Ticker Attack event you will need to submit and tag a qualifying video @tickertraining on Instagram after registration; try as many times as you like before Labor Day and ready your body and mind for the challenge of the year!
